From the moment the bell rings on the last day of school until the day their’re back on the bus, Camp Thunderbird has a program for you! YMCA Camp Thunderbird offers a varied, well-balanced program flexible enough to fit each camper’s need for self-expression, discovery, and fun! Grouped by age, you can rest assured that your child will be building amazing friendships and partaking in age-appropriate activities in an exciting yet structured and supervised setting.

ARCHERY TAG (8+)
LOW ROPES COURSE (8+)
WATER ZIP LINE (ALL CAMPERS)
EXTENDED BOULDERING WALL (ALL CAMPERS)
UPDATED FISHING EQUIPMENT (ALL CAMPERS)
- Camp Arts: creative arts camp songs & skits, music, drama & dance
- Outdoor Sports: archery (basic and advanced), marksmanship, fishing, sports & field games, canoeing, gaga ball, basketball, biking
- Outdoor Education: outdoor education & survival, hiking, fort building
- Wellness: swim lessons, free swim, canoeing, climb the alpine tower (age 8 and older), take a ride on the giant swing (age 8 and older), ride down our zip lines (age 8 and older)
