Whenever the Y transports children, the Y takes every precaution to ensure your child’s safety. Children must follow the below Y basic safety rules while being transported. Our Y drivers are instructed to: load and unload the children only when the vehicle is pulled up to a curb, the side of the road, or in a driveway; to not discipline and drive at the same time; and take precautions to never leave a child alone in a vehicle.

In order to reduce paperwork and waste, the electronically signed Youth Enrichment Program registration authorizes the Y to take your child on all field trips for the school year and summer, with notice. You have the right to refuse permission for your child to go on a particular field trip. Just let us know in a timely fashion.

BUS SCHEDULE FOR 2019

ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE

• If you are driving your camper to and from camp, our Rides In process runs from 7:00am-8:45am and Rides Out is 5:00pm-6:00pm.

• If you are utilizing one of our bus stops, please be aware that the times listed are not windows, but specific times to drop off and pick up your child. Buses depart the bus stop location at the A.M. Drop Off time and all campers should be picked up not later than the P.M. Pick Up time. If you miss the bus, you may drive your child directly to camp and follow the sign in process there.

• Early pickup may be done at the camp office PRIOR to 4:30PM. The camp property is very large so please send an email in the morning OR at least ONE HOUR prior to pick up to the camp office so we may arrange to have your camper waiting for you. Otherwise, please be prepared to wait at least 20–30 minutes in order to gather your camper and their belongings for departure. No early pick-ups will be allowed after 4:30. Should the above steps not be followed, making it difficult to get your camper to the office before the 4:30 cut off, you may be instructed to wait until the scheduled camp pick up time of 5:00pm.

• Only adults that are listed on the approved pick up list for your camper, and with correct identification, may be allowed to sign out a camper from a bus stop or on campus.
